Love in the Heart

“I just don’t have time. I have this to do, that to do, have to there by noon….”  How many of us actually do make time to travel all the way to Japan, then spend 3 months donating our hands to help people in need rebuild after the Tsunami?

Or go to Puerto Rico to reconstruct homes after a hurricane has left so many destitute and homeless?  Well, some people actually do leave their own homes, their jobs and their loved ones to help others who desperately need that help. Admirable. I ask myself, “how much love do I have in my own heart for others?”   

In this episode, Michael Hatfield explores this topic while interviewing a successful General Contractor, also a “Michael,” who states that “he is driven to help others who truly need it.”  This man “puts his own experienced hands to work” in helping others who have been caught-up in unfortunate circumstances.  He states that he “has made the time because of the love in his heart.”

Michael says, “if he wants to actually “do something worthwhile for his fellow man, he must donate his helping hands or his money to help those in need.”
